This page matches the English body in client asset agreement_bodies.json (“en”).
Welcome to Easy Learn Hanzi (“the App”). Please read this agreement before use. By tapping “Agree and continue” or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, do not use the App.
1. Service
The App helps children learn Chinese characters with flashcards, review, a matching challenge, on-device progress, and simple local rewards (e.g. flowers, badges). Features depend on the installed build.
2. Accounts
No online account is required for core features in this version.
3. Data storage
Progress, review data, challenge times, profile nicknames, and reward state are stored locally on your device. We do not routinely upload this data to our servers in this version. Protect your device from unauthorised access.
4. Speech and media
Speech uses the device’s system text-to-speech engine and installed voices; some prompts use bundled audio.
5. Intellectual property
Intellectual property in the App and content belongs to the rights holders. Do not reverse engineer or misuse the App.
6. Children
Minors should use the App with guardian consent and supervision.
7. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law.
8. Changes
We may update this agreement; continued use means acceptance of updates.
